Welcome Home

Adam, James, and I are proud owners of two fish and a ghost shrimp. One of our fish has a Mickey Mouse face on his tail and this is Adam's fish. His is name is Sputnik Oceano (Use a French accent when you read it). The next fish's name is Bob Dole Jr. Jr. (this is James fish and he can say Bob Dole). He is named after the great Bob Dole and the Jr. Jr. comes from a movie we like called Everything is Illuminated. The ghost shrimp is what I picked out and his name is Mater. I named him that after the story The Ghost Light. Here is a little video of our new family members.

A little fun

I wish I would have gotten a video of James first trampoline jump. He had so much fun jumping. We had gone to a friend's house and they had a trampling. He kept trying to get on it and he had to jump twice. I of course had to hold his hand as he jumped. He later lied down and laughed while the other kids jumped as he flew up and down. It was really cute to see.

My super long post of our month and past few days

Before I start telling about the pictures I will let you know that this entry is about a week and to three weeks worth of story and picture sharing. I am behind, but at least I am catching you up.

This picture was taken a few minutes ago. He wanted to go outside so badly, but he already took a bath. He is so cute.

This is my inspiration blanket. I was napping this afternoon and I saw this quilt in my mind. It took my a while to get it right, but it came out really good.








I quilted the stars on individually. I tell you it took forever! I got all fifty stars and yes all thirteen stripes. I am so proud of myself.













I thought I would give it a photo op on my dad's furniture. Oh by the way dad there are people here he want to know more and if you ship. Thay love it.








I finally finished the quilt I started a few weeks back, the one with the rocket. James loved it so much I decided it was for him. He has snuggled on it all day. He is so cute.

















James loves watching people play on the computer. Here he is watching Greg play Tetris. He gets a joy out of just being with people.












Our stake had a Luau yesterday which was really nice. James got everyone's leis and loved wearing them. His favorite part was the Fijian dancers and he wanted to dance like them. He kept trying to shake his hands like them and clapped when they clapped. It was cute.







This is right before we got into the car to go to Chick Fillet. They were giving all fathers milk shakes for Father's Day.



















We had a hot dog tasting party and James friend Adam. James tried to give Adam a kiss on the check and James got wacked. It was funny. I guess James got to close. Adam is a month younger than James. He is on the normal end of things while James is in the 90 plus % of every thing. Cute, huh?




With my work I went on a field trip on Friday to this safari. It was fun we rode these buses and feed animals out of the window. I got to feed a water buffalo and a camel. The camel was gross, but fun. I saved half my food to feed the giraffes that decided they didn't want to be out because of the heat. I was sad. I never saw a giraffe.

This is a small version of what we drove in, but it gives you an idea.

Kelly had a birthday party at the beginning of the month. James loved playing with the streamers. When the party was over he knocked the down and played in them.














Here is the mess he made before we put it into a pile. He was going to town with it.

James is the new Mozart listen to his skills. He got up on the piano banch all by himself and when I went looking for him I found him playing on the piano.

I was trying to feed the Elk and the she Elk got to close and scared me.



This was me feeding the camel I was so nervous that I barely got the camel in the video.


This is my favortie polynesian dance. It's a New Zealand War dance. I won't destroy the name by trying to spell it, but I had to share this with you all.


Finally I am almost done posting!!! This video was taken this evening just so my family could feel a little closer to us. This is for you daddy and mother lady oh yeah you kids. I hope that Dad you have a nice evening with your family, if you get home tonight (Father's Day). We miss and love you. Oh by the way I think you should sale everything on ebay and move to Georgia. Love me.

Ouch

I am dumb. My lip froze to my Popsicle and I cut it. I got blood all over my popsicle. Yes it hurts!

First Contact

James got a Spock toy from Burger King which he loves. So yes dad he is taking after you. Anyway James was playing with his Spock and I had a playschool Noah, from Noah's ark. James made vulcan history. No Zephrom Cochrane was not the one who made first contact, but instead it was the wise Spock and the flood survivor Noah. Spock had some wise words to say when James had them meet. Spock said to Noah, "A rescue attempt would be illogical." We had to laugh.

Adam then made up his own rendition of what really happened.

My second That's Lolli sale

I sold my second item today! I sold a tutu. I am excited. This has given me my push to finish my projects. I have so many on the back burner. Work has been taking it out of me lately. I have tons of fabric and stuff sitting in the corner calling my name. None the less I am excited!
