Afternoon laughs

I know it's unorthodox for anyone other than Wendy, i.e. me (Adam), to post on her blog, but I felt I should post these videos I took of James and Elizabeth this afternoon. I stepped out of the room for just a moment and came back to the sound of Elizabeth cracking up like I'd never before heard. James was tossing his new Frisbee into the air (sometimes even hitting Elizabeth on its way down), and she just thought it was the greatest thing on earth.

I started recording from a distance in case they found out and got shy. They didn't seem to mind, though, so I later moved in closer.

This is James at Greg's swim meet. He was cheering Greg on by saying, "Go Greg, go Greg!"

These are Elizabeth's first piggy tales. She looks like a Cabbage Patch doll.

"Say what?"

First baby food. Yum!

She is wearing the bib her Great-Aunt Helen gave her.

Baby food drool! Her first food was Apple Sauce Rice Cereal.

This was Elizabeth's St.Patty's day outfit. She wore a garter as a headband. She looked so cute!

This is what a family does when they are having fun with boxes that are lying around the house.

This is robot James riding his car. He is a good driver.

Elizabeth seemed like she didn't like the food. She chocked on it a bit on a later file. Maybe it is the texture. She really likes to be nursed and I am hoping to get her to like some other stuff. She does look really cute in her bib. What can I say she is such a cute girl!

James had a blast cheering for Greg. He didn't want me to film him. James kept trying to get me to film Greg swimming. I thought this was great.

Updates

James 2 yr old 4 months:

New obsession: Lilo and Stich

Times watched: 8 this week and it is only Thursday

New: Slept for the first time not in his crib this week. He slept in his tent and stayed there until 9:30am. This morning was night number 2 and he was knocking at his door at 8:30 am.

We may not not a toddler bed if he sleeps in his tent.

New old habit: Sitting in his old highchair for all meals is his favorite thing. Elizabeth now has to sit in someone's lap. Sigh....

Elizabeth 5 Months:

New: Weird sleep hours

Reason: Time change and traveling

Sleeping: She will fall asleep anywhere, even being carried in her sling sitting up right.

New Discovery: Baby food

Results: She hates it. Rice cereal, yuck. Rice cereal with apple sauce from a Gerber jar, yuck. Maybe we will try again next month? Breast milk she loves. Sometimes she even giggles while she eats. She enjoys it way toooooo much.

Adam 26 years 2months

Jobless: Loves it! He has become the Sloka-nator. Ask him what that is, but basically it's a Sanskrit thing and he is good at it. (I am a run-on pro)

Favorite rooms in the house: Spare room/office. Locks himself in there to do homework. Go Adam, make good grades!

Wendy 27 years 2 months

New: Doing awesome with Scentsy! 27th March show at the Classic Center in Athens.

10am-4pm Pony ride, clowns, petting zoo, building with Home Depot, etc $3 person

2 and under free

Desire: To have a clean house and have time to make a quilt or a dress, something

Miss: Family (Lilburn and Yuma) and making things with my hands

A little Sunday fun

James really wanted to hold Elizabeth. He got the opportunity to do this while sitting on Daddy's panza (belly). He thought he was pretty cool. He loves his little sister so much. She loves to lick him when he gets close enough. Yesterday, she left a blob of drool on the side of his face. It was a token of her love. James loved it, well he didn't complain or clean off the drool.
