Missing my Family, but soon I'll see them

I am so excited I get to see my family in a week and a half. I have not seen them since I graduated. I miss them so much. I get to spend a whole 9 days with them. Just being able to be with and be back in my desert will be wonderful. I miss the West. I love the West so much. I miss seeing the cactus and feeling the heat on my skin. I also miss seeing the ocean. I know that has nothing to do with the desert, but there is something special about the Pacific Ocean. It's beautiful and smells so good. I don't think I will get to see it, but that's ok because I will be with my family. I miss them so much I almost forget the way they look. When that starts to happen you know you've been gone way to long. I wish sometimes life would slow down so that I can enjoy all the little things that are so important. Life is short and I don't want to watse it away on dumb petty things. I really can't wait to see my daddy and mom and siblings, but especially my daddy. I hope he makes time for me and I hope I make time for him.

Ventalation

Have you ever had a bad day and wondered when it would end? Then everything kept spiraling downwards and getting worse. I have had three days of that. I am worn out and almost bitter, but what can one do either than cry and hope things will get better. I have been doing some praying because that seems to be a good outlet. Screaming and hitting things might help, but one has to control oneself. Maybe I should take up boxing to get out my frustration. It seems the harder I try the worse things get. So I am declaring it to the world, "I give up! I forfeit and I give in! I declare I will no longer ask anyone to do anything or ask for help. I will mind my own business." Ok now that I have declared it I feel a little better. I am done. Thank goodness!

Zoo Atlanta

James did not want to be a Panda. Well at first he liked the idea, but than he got restless.

Isn't this a good shot.

The flamingos are beautiful!

Panda love their bamboo.

James really didn't care either way for the zoo, except the part with the goats. He seemed to enjoy being able to go up to them and pet them. He loved running up to the goats especially the ones with the red collars. The red collars were to indicate "DANGER." You know James and danger they are like peanut butter and jelly.

A little Shout Out to Erin P

The following films are for our dear Erin P. who is out at BYU. James has been running around and causing mayhem just like she did when she was small. Well at least he is as dramatic as her. He too throws himself on the ground when he doesn''t get his way. I don't think she does this anymore. Wink. We love you and miss you a bunch. We can't wait until you get home this summer! Oh, and congrates on getting into the Spanish house at the FLSR (Foreign language Housing). That's where Adam and I meet.

A little blood and some tears

So James has been quite accident prone the last few days. He was sitting on his daddy's lap with his sippy cup in his mouth and decided it would be a good idea to bang his head on his father's chest. When he did so he split the inside of his mouth which caused his mouth to turn blood red. He was screaming with blood all over his death. I felt like I was going to lose it, but I didn't realize it until Adam's mom said something. She took him and cuddled on him. He got to eat a Popsicle and was very happy. Nothing to bad happened to his teeth. Today he had to add to his bleeding. I bought him his first pair of real shoes. His last pair had a soft sole and his new ones have a hard sole. He has been very careful in walking in them and has tripped a few times. Once again he had his sippy cup in his mouth as he walked quickly towards me as we were about to leave. He tripped over his feet and his bottle must have gone up his nose because drops of blood came flooding out of his nose. We got him cleaned up and later at lunch he sneezed and caused the wound to open. It was not fun. I think we need to watch him better with his cups before he moves around and gets hurt again. I am usually ok with blood and stuff, but I just can't handle it right now. All you mothers out there know or will now my trama. I should say poor James' trama.

Run

James has this fascination with Diet Coke. The other day his grandpop was drinking one and left it on his desk. James went over and took a big drink out of his cup. James' grandmom saw him and said, "What are you doing?" He grabbed the drink and ran for the door. He was going to get out the door with his prize, but he was not successful. He loves soda at the age of 15 months, where did I go wrong. =0)

Today is a very special day because no only is it Sunday, but it is a snow day. Yes, you read that right it is snowing here in Lilburn, GA. Lilburn is a suburb of ATL in case you were wondering. SO when we went to church it was raining and the forecast called for snow by 1 pm. We thought, "Yeah Right!" But, lo and behold it snowed and it snowed and it is still snowing. Here are a few pictures of the snow and everyone playing in it. Enjoy! Oh it reminded me of being back in Utah. I miss all of you who are there and places more South where it's at least 80 plus degrees right now.

G was making snow angels and throwing snow balls at A and his dad, but here he stops to say cheese.

Boys and snow , G, J, A's dad (dadster, that's what I call him), and A

Cheese!

B and her little friend.

He just had to crawl in the snow.

ISN'T SHE BEAUTIFUL!

Honey, I have the camera don't you get any ideas.

J is sneaking in the snow. He is like his dad a snow eater.

A shot down the road

Look dad your chairs in the snow in the backyard

Are you ready to come in for some soup and hot chocolate?
