Picnik.com

I discovered a site called Picnik.com I was able to do this cool editing in like a minute. I never knew I could edit photos. I love the way it came out. I think everyone should go to this site and get their pictures looking this good in a matter of minutes.

A sad tale

Well a sad moment history happened last night. We have been having a hard time with our fish tank. We are new to having fish and a tank. We had tried everything to get the water clean and not murky. Poor Mater was trying so hard to be strong, but it was too much for him. When we came home last night we found him and he was gone. He will be missed. We finally got the water cleared up last late night. I guess it is too late for him, but hopefully the others will be ok. So we say farewell to a good Ghost Shrimp known as Mater.

Fourth of July Weekend fun

On our way to Huntsville, AL we go through the hometown of Alabama. This town is very proud of these boys. There is a statue for every member of the band and a huge Alabama Museum which I hope to visit one day, just to say I did.

These pictures were taken from the car as we drove through. Adam's family and us stopped here on the way back, but Adam's mom has those pictures on her camera. She got some good shots of everyone posing with the statues.

Early Friday morning we went to get coupons for the Space and Rocket Center, but it was not yet opened so we went to this little park near by to wait. This park happens to be the one where Adam's parents took many strolls during their dating years. It was kind of cool to play there.

James just had tons of fun running around the park. I think this is when he fell and scuffed his knee. I only had neosporian, but I now carry band aids too.

James thought it was cool to run as fast as he could as you will see in the up coming videos.

Adam trying to keep tabs on our little wiggle worm.

"Go, Diego*, Go!"
Diego is James in Spanish for those who don't know.
This is such a sweet picture of Daddy and little boy. I loved watching them play together by the pond. It is really nice to see Adam with James. He loves his Daddy very much.

James loves to lead his Daddy off into different directions too. It's funny to watch James grab his Daddy's hand and drag him around the house and pull him down to have Adam sit where ever James desires. He is kind of a picky kid.

We went to the Space and Rocket Center. It was pretty cool. I know my brothers and my dad would have loved it. They have space camp for kids and their parents. Something to look to forward one day.

James was kind of scared of the big marshmallow astronaut, but let's be honest most normal kids would be too. I thought it was funny to see someone in this huge costume trying to walk around without being toppled by kids nor toppling kids over.

James and Adam posing with one of the bazzillion rockets they have. This place is a rocket graveyard, but it is so cool to see how they built all this stuff.

Me and another rocket.

The next day on our way to Adam's uncles house for lunch, James took a nap and boy doesn't he look ready for anything.

I just thought he looked so happy and funny!

This one is my favorite.

Baseball! This is a picture of a former player of baseball who got Lou Gehrig Disease. He got to throw the opening game ball. It was cool.

This is Adam's cousins little girl, Katelyn. Isn't she cute!

James got spolied by his GREAT Uncle Stephen. James went off with him and came back with a little stuffed skunck, Homer, which is the Stars Mascot. Later on someone, I think GREAT Uncle Stephen or his GREAT Aunt Karen gave him a baseball. He loves the baseball. He carried it around for a few days and slept with it. I think it is now with his others balls. It probably got there due to me cleaning. He thought his Great Aunts and Uncle were super great. I know they thought he was pretty cool too.

Here are the Paulukaitii in their Fourth of July splender.

Erin and I strike a quick pose during the innings that went pretty fast.

James and his daddy got James new baseball signed by some ball players.

Doesn't he look so happy! I think this was taken on our way home from church. I put my hair sparklers on Adam's ears. Doesn't he look so festive! I think he is cute.

Ok here are a few videos for your enjoyment.

We had so much fun in Huntsville! We can't wait until we can go back. Everyone was so nice and loving. I know Adam and James had a great time too and wished we could have spent more time with everyone. It was hard sometimes because poor James was having a hard time sleeping. He is a lot like me when it comes to sleep. If he doesn't have enough of it no one wants to hang out with either one of us.

Vacation

James is still on the not feeling well side of things. He is doing better, but he is real snuggly. I hope that our vacation doesn't make him feel worse. We are leaving for Huntsville, AL to celebrate the Fourth of July. Every year Adam's family has this tradition to there and be with family. I am looking forward to be a part of all their family traditions including going to the Stars Baseball game and the swim party before the greatest display of fireworks at Jay's car wash (he is a friend of the family). We are off in a few hours.

Sick baby

I have a sick needy baby today. I feel bad for him. I guess we are going to sit on the couch and watch his shows until I have to go to work. He is snuggled next to me breathing hard through his snotty nose.
