What's up with us?

Things have been crazy. I am grateful for the summer, but I am ready to have Adam back home and in school. I have missed seeing him on a regular basis and I think his brain will be happy to have Linguistics oozing from it.

I am happy and a bit nervous to report that I will be working two very part-time jobs. I am working at two different shops in downtown Watkinsville, GA. They are Mom and Pop type shops. One is a Span and Patio shop where I will work one day a week and somtimes on weekends and the other is an Organic type store where I will work twice a week. I like both places and the owners so I am sure it will be a good fit. I have been preparing myself for this so it should be good.

I will still be doing Scentsy. I have been getting a lot of business the last few weeks so let's keep up the good work on that end. I really like selling Scentsy and wished it would be my only job so I could stay home all the time and play with my kids, but I am not quit there. i could do that, but Adam will be focusing on school only this coming up semester so I am going out into the real world for employment. Next semester Adam will have a teaching position, fingers crossed that it will still be available for him, so I can return to being with my kids or hey I might like working and continue to do it until Adam is out of school. We shall see.

The kids are getting so big and tons of fun. Elizabeth is as busy as ten bees. You cannot take your eyes off of her. She gets into everything and has learned how to get out of the seatbelt at the grocery store. She is good and fast. She is so skinny that it is easy for her to escape. She likes to be in the basket part with her brother, but she likes to stand up. It's okay, but I have to stand next to her the whole time. She is has her own opinions about things and she will let you know. She really loves her brother and anything he is doing or has. She would follow him off a bridge. She loves that guy.

James on the other hand likes her sometimes. He likes her enough to give her a kiss every now and again. He let's her play with his toys unless he is playing with them or he is in one of those "MINE" moods. He can make her laugh on a dime which he prides himself in. James is a lot smarter than I give him credit for. I only say this because he wasn't talking for a while and now he says and does things I didn't even know he could say or do. He can count to 20, 10 without a prompt. He even counted every other number with me until I got to 15 and then he got a little hung up. He is so cool. I love his imagination. He can make a gun or sword out of anything. When a kid says a trophy with a keynote is a golf and tries to tell you that's what it's for that's pretty cool. He also uses the back scratcher as a golf putter. Today I was sick and he even had me playing bad guys with him. I couldn't get out of bed so he came into my "cave" the blanket and hide from the bad guys. When they got close enough he jumped out and shot them with his finger guns. I helped by throwing explosives as I peeked my head out of the blanket cave. It was nice to be able to play even though I didn't feel well.

I love my kids and my husband. They are the world to me. They make me laugh and are so amazing.

My sweet husband knows I am not thrilled to work and that I didn't feel good so he has been doing a lot around the house. He has done the dishes, vacuumed, laundry, diaper changing. He is awesome!!!! I love you. Adam. He has made me having to go to work a lot easier. I am grateful for that.

Thanks for the great descriptions! You're great at painting vivid pictures so that it's easy to visualize the latest with your kids. It was almost as if you included a video of Elizabeth in the store and James' make-believe weapon play. Hope you feel better really soon and that everything goes well with your two new jobs.
